CHIPPEWA COUNTY RECYCLING LEADERSHIP AWARD

On June 28, 2009 Chippewa Valley Music Festivals was awarded the Chippewa County Recycling Leadership Award by the Chippewa County Recycling Program.

The award was presented to Michael Asher, General Manager and Promoter of Chippewa Valley Music Festivals in recognition of community leadership as exhibited by developing and incorporating a model recycling program as part of all Chippewa Valley Music Festivals events. This award was achieved due to the conscience effort by Chippewa Valley Music Festivals and all people who attend Country Fest and undoubtedly would not be possible without the help of all of the fans who attend Country Fest. Recycling is essential in keeping our environment clean and for that, Chippewa Valley Music Festivals extends their thanks to all of the fans who do their part in recycling and for helping to keep the grounds clean. If we all work together with the recycling program and garbage handling, we all can be proud that we are doing our part in keeping our environment clean. The cost of recycling and garbage continue to increase every year, but the dollars spent and the effort by all of us is well worth it if we can do our part to save the environment for our kids’ and our kids’ kids’ in the future.

Again Fans, Thank You Very Much!
